This past Saturday was pretty amazing, as I was able to level up and take my first Level 3 pole class. I am happy to report that it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be, and I was able to at least somewhat understand some of the moves that are at the next level.
What I am most excited about is that I was able to do a hip hold for the first time ever. For some reason, I found the hip hold to be a lot easier on my body than an outside leg hang (which I am still working on). Here is my first go at a hip hold:
I also was able to begin working on jasmine to superman and apprentice to superman, and I have the new bruises to show for it (hello thighs!). Its safe to say that my body is not pleased!
Regardless of the pain, I am so excited to be expanding my pole capabilities and can't wait to nail the next trick!
