#MotivationMonday: When Goals Become Reality.

This past week was a good week for me, as I hit two skills that I have been wanting to do for about a year. The feeling of accomplishment is...spectacular. This week, I also came across a picture from when I first got my inverted crucifix:

Feb 2016

I remember back then how I felt, just being able to get upside down (from a handstand, because I still couldn't invert) and hold it with no hands. That's one of the things I love about pole: being able to challenge yourself, meet your challenge, then move the goal post so you are always trying to get better, never settling. Pole for me is a direct reflection of what I am trying to do in my personal life too- always pursuing my best self. Pole just happens to give me something tangible to track results with.

With that being said, check out me hitting my dislocator spin and my butterfly.

As soon as I hit these skills, I already started to think about what I wanted to do next. My next sub goal is to be able to do these in a routine. That is where the real challenge will come from, but I'm ready.

Have you hit any pole goals?
